Sales Manager

The Store Manager communicates the store strategy and action plan.  The Manager motivates a team to complete the sales process, ensure customer satisfaction, maximize productivity and profitability and comply with company procedures.  The Manager will also train and develop their staff and monitor their development.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

     —  Conceptualize & implement new ways to drive sales & achieve goals.
     —  Protect & enhance the customer experience.
     —  Monitor stoer presentation & support brand consistency.
     —  Communicate Merchandise sell-through & market trend information to various levels
            of Corporate Management.
     —  Conduct associates recruiting, interviewing & hiring.
     —  Create & maintain team relationships.
     —  Diagnose, develop & evaluate the performance of associates.
     —  Define workload for associates.
     —  Partner with Corporate HR Dept. in addressing & documenting unsatisfactory performance
            & policy violation of associates.
     —  Uphold & evaluate established best practices; communicate feedback to DM.
     —  Collaborate with Upper Managemet in anaylsis of store level reports; create & execute
            action plans to maximize results.
     —  Handle store level HR or LP issues with Corporate Management.

Qualifications:
     —  4 year Degree from a college or university; or 2 to 4 years related experience and/or
            training; or equivalent of education & experience.
     —  Ability to motivate staff & multi-task.
     —  Excellent communication skills; both oral & written.
     —  Strong sales & Customer service ability.
     —  Prior retail experience a plus.
